Amelia Humber was born in London in 1984 , studied at Falmouth College of Art.
Amelia first came to live up it the Highlands back in 2013. Her love of wild untamed places stretching back beyond that.
Her paintings are delicate and powerful responses that evoke a sense of place. Her obsession with light and her love of dark stormy weather make the Scottish Highlands the perfect place for her to express herself and her love of landscape and painting.
Her visual vocabulary is constantly evolving as she becomes more attracted to the idea of “creating snapshots across the UK”.
